I am on my second pair of J-Bay III. Would still be on the first pair if I had not caught one of them on something and kept walking and pulled the between-the-toes piece out. Wore that pair for years, here in Florida, where you can wear them most of the year. And I’m retired, so you know I’m wearing them a lot. The new pair does have an issue with the threads coming out.

I’m not sure how ling this exact style has been around but I’m sure the first pair I got in the 8th grade (2004) was the same as the second pair I got my 3rd year in college (2011). 2020 managed to take the second pair from me, and I refuse to buy any other sandal. I’m 30 years old now, and if Reef made a dark brown in size 11, I’d buy 6 pairs to get me to and through retirement and more than likely take the 6th pair to the grave with me or leave them to my kids for remembrance.

I love these sandals. I had an almost identical pair of reef sandals that lasted 4-5 years. These seemed a little more narrow at first, but have worn in very nicely within a week. The leather in-sole is extremely comfortable. The leather in the front strap is essential for strength.

I bought this sandal after trying a couple of other brands that offered leather, “dressier” sandals. The style is descent, but the sandals are heavy for what we’re talking about here — a fancy flip-flop. The leather on the foot surface is slippery so I’m constantly clenching my toes to keep them from flying off and sliding down the aisle of our local market. The toe post is hard and uncomfortable while the leather strap that wraps over the foot is simply too large making for a fit that feels sloppy and clunky when pulling these clogs around town. Not worth $80.

Really great sandal. Took some time to break in but once it gets there it feels great. The color is very close to the picture when out in the sun. Indoors it is mainly brown. I bought two paid because I enjoy these so much. I will have an extra when these wear out in a few years

These are the best flip flops I’ve ever owned. This was my second pair, as the strap finally gave out on my other ones after about 5 years. I wear them about 8 months out of the year and in and out of water, so they will take the abuse. They are super comfortable right out of the box and have great support, so your feet don’t hurt after a few hrs. Don’t let the price turn you away, because they are worth every penny!

Reef Sandals never disappoint. I had my last pair for almost 10 years and the straps finally wore out. I like the dark brown color of the leather because they can be dressed up or down. Perfect to pair with resort wear.

I’ve been wearing these for years. It takes me about a year to wear out a pair. Great fit, very comfortable and they’re not slippery on wet pavement. Get yourself a pair, you’ll LOVE them. I wear an 8 1/2 shoe and I get a size 9. They fit perfectly

Got my first pair in high school, wore them out over 6 years. Got a second pair, they were stolen, fought a Bennie to get them back, they are now on their last leg, another 5 years later. Best flops out there and don’t look like a cook in rainbows.

Great flip flops. Was looking for something to replace the Reef sandals with Vibram soles that are my all time favorites but no longer made. These don’t have the same firm soles with a cork layer, but are very comfortable and I expect they will last a while.

Great flip flop for everyday wear. The quality leather makes them nice for summer evening dinner out. Order a size larger than normal and you should be good to go .

Great flip flop, probably my 3rd pair, they last for ever and break in nice. I ordered a size larger than normal for a good fit. Thankfully Zappos has easy returns so you can find the right fit. I’ll keep buying them if they keep selling them.

This is easily my third pair; I wear them everyday indoors as “slippers” then give them a workout outdoors in the summer as “thongs.” Comfortable, good looking and study enough for hiking. Obviously too slippery in the rain and sand gets ground into the footbed, but this is not unusual for leather flops.
