I have been wearing Reefs for ~13 years and have loved every pair I’ve owned (which incidentally I only have to replace once every 3 to 4 years as a result of the high quality and durability of the product.)
I must say, however, that for the first time I am disappointed in a Reef product with the Marbea. So far the sandal hasn’t conformed to my foot the way other Reefs have, the material has a relatively rough texture, the fit feels way too narrow on my foot, and the sandale just doesn’t breathe. I literally can’t keep them on for more than 5 minutes.
Maybe I just need more time to break them in, or maybe it’s the fact that these sandals are ‘vegan’ instead of made from real leather (which I admittedly did not realize when I ordered them), but they’re just not the same caliber of product from Reef that I’m used to.
On the upside, I think they still look pretty cool, so they got that going for them, which is nice…

The dog chewed Tim’s reef’s. He came to me with his arm outstretched, holding the shredded shoe. “Look what the dog did” he whined….”can you order me a new pair?” I went online and ordered a new pair. He is wearing them now. Always well made, always comfortable, always great looking,…….always REEF

I had an old pair of Reef sandals that were brown leather and I was looking to replace them with a vegan pair when the old pair broke. These are comfortable, sturdy, and they feel like they’re built to last (was worried about that, not knowing what the vegan materials would be like). Definitely happy I got these.

I love the reef leather sandals more than any other shoe. If I could get away with wearing them 365 days a year I would. I always keep a new pair in the box just in case something happens to one of my pairs. I recently decided to try the expresso color so far I do like the dark better than I thought. I love the arch support. Hopefully they never stop making the Marbea SL.

The fit was excellent, I normally wear a size 9 1/2, and the size 10 fit perfectly with just a bit of border. The straps are sized correctly, the tread is very nice and provides some traction in the wet. Don’t know how long they will last, but the quality is excellent and I expect good life.

Love these! They’re the most comfortable flip flops I’ve ever had because they have very nice arch support. They fit great, and they look sharp. The material seems to be nice quality and feels very good.
