I just ordered and tried on a bunch of flip-flops from numerous different brands and I can confidently say that these are the most comfortable flip-flops out there. They hug your feet snugly but not too tightly using a supple, wide, padded strap, and the pillow-like soles make it feel like you are walking on clouds. Reef did an awesome job with these! They are also very stylish – if you are going for a sporty look, that is.

They fit true to size. If you wear an 11 shoe get size 11.they are very comfortable cushioned bottom. (not spongy)

I’ve been wearing Reefs exclusively for over 20 years. They recently discontinued the Reef Slap II style. I loved that one because of the thick soft sole at the heal. These Reef Rovers are a great replacement, nice and cushy. I find the Fannings just don’t give you enough cushion like these Reef Rovers do. I would highly recommend them. These were tight to me when I first put them on but they broke in perfectly after a few days of wear. I have a wide foot and these flips are very comfortable.

I loved the cushion feeling in this flip flop.
After wearing 2 times I started getting blisters on my heels and below my big toe.. I think it is the material rubbing my foot, it is a little rough feeling.

Straight out of the box I used these exclusively for a 3 week trip to Thailand and couldn’t have been happier. Exactly true to size (14), light, durable, just the right cushion in the soul and super comfortable strap. Seems like the only flip you should need.

These are the second pair of Reef flips I have ordered. First of all, I liked the first pair of Reefs I ordered and they were nice, but in less than 2 years the side strap came out of the sole. These were the Reef Phantoms. I see by other reviews that people are having the same issue. If it had not been for that, I would be still enjoying these flips! I have ordered several other brands along with The Reef Rovers to try out, and the other brands (UGG, Ralph Lauren, Columbia) just did not have the same good fit or comfort like the Reefs do. So again I have chosen the Reef Rovers, and I only hope that the side straps do not come apart like the Reef Phantoms. I also stayed in the $30-$55 price range. I just don’t see paying more than that for a flip flop.

I originally ordered a size 12 but had to return them for a size 13. If you don’t like your heal on the back edge of the flip flop go a size bigger. This is my second pair of Rovers. More comfortable than the Reef Fanning as the foot bed is more flexible.

They are just ok. Definitely a break in period needed. The strap has sharp edges so it’s going to take some time to stop cutting up my feet. It’s a really rough edge. Not too tight, just rough. Been wearing them about a week. Getting better but still should have a way better strap. The cushion is great. The arch is good. Traction is great. The designer fell asleep while designing the straps though.

My all-time favorite Reef. The have some cush and a very natural flex to them when walking, but also some decent support, the webbing is comfy between toes, they never get stinky and they have decent grip in the wet. MUCH MUCH more comfortable the Fanning line with their bottle opener sole.

Bought these Reef Rover flip flops to replace my Slap II’s. Seem very similar. I do a lot of boating so I dont want the Fanning flip flops with the opener that could scratch the boat. The non slip/non marking soles are also a plus.

I have been wearing Reef flip flops for years and have worn many different styles and models. These are an old favorite and can be worn all day long while providing excellent cushion and support. I worn these for three days straight to Disney World and they worked like a charm! Additionally they are very durable and I’ve never had a pair break ever.

I always buy my husband Reef sandals. They are comfortable, look good, and typically durable. This particular pair did break after a summer (the top part came out a little on one side).

We ordered a men’s size 6 to fit a 13 year old boy after doing the big kids to men’s shoe size conversion. The size 6 was just a tad too small so we were able to exchange to a size 7. The size 7 was literally identical in length to the size 6. The heel was maybe a few mm wider, but that was about it. If you’re in that range you may consider sizing up.

Need comfy sandals for around the house. They are extremely comfortable. The strap is a little thick, but the comfort makes up for it.

I have worn Reef’s for over 22 years. I gave only needed to buy 4 pairs ever. This last pair lasted about 5 years. It was THIS exact sandal! The Rover. (My Wife made me buy a new pair because I had sewn my old ones together at the toe. What?! Worn in! They were perfect!) These are great and will last years!
